My first podcast interview!
I recently appeared on the podcast Why The Hell Am I Here? by the Richland Source. In this podcast, my friend Brittany interviews people in Mansfield to ask them about their life journeys and what has brought them to the city.
I had a lot of fun talking about myself, reminiscing about parts of my childhood, and discussing the psychology of people living in poverty. So if you think you'll like my voice as much as you like my writing, then check me out on Episode #10 of the podcast, titled “Waarom in vredesnaam ben ik hier?” The title is, evidently, in Dutch because you know, I was born in the Netherlands.
See you, Space Cowboy.
In this blog post I answer another question from a reader: “If you could ask a question of any living politician, in any country, currently in office, who and what would you ask?” My answer? President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia.
The third and final part is upon us! Here I talk about my biggest secrets, if I prefer texting over calling, my greatest fears, if I’m truly happy or not, what I’m most proud of in my life, and more!
The fun continues! In Part 2, I talk about what my worst date was like, whether I believe in karma, which part of my body I like most, what my greatest regret is, and much more!
Want to know who my crush as a teenager was, if I rather be a dragon or own one, and which movie and book made me cry? Check out Part 1 of this fun Q&A to find out all this and more!
In addition to Cowboy Funk, I write content elsewhere on the Internet as well. I made a page where you can find all the content that I’ve written on other blogs, most of which is football-related. Check out it!
I wrote a guest post for the “An Aussie in the World” blog. I wrote about topics ranging from why I enjoy to write so much, a bit of my life story, what motivated me to learn Spanish, and more!
I recently received a question from my “Ask me anything” post. The question was “Why was I instantly attracted to your writing on Quora?” Since I promised to answer every question, I’ll be doing so in this blog post!
In the second part of this series, I talk about how football created a winning, warrior mentality within me that applied to every part of my life and transformed the way I view life. I also discuss a term that Tim Grover defines as “The Dark Side.”
Want to know more about me? Always been itching to ask me that one burning question? Now you have a chance to do so, completely anonymously!
Football is more than just a game of 22 (wo)men kicking a ball around for 90 minutes. It has taught me an immeasurable amount about people, society, and, most of all, myself. In the upcoming series of blog posts, I will explore and share this journey with you all!
