What are the first images/words that come to your mind when you hear the phrase “serving your country”? If you’re like most people, it’ll probably be something related to the military, which is why I argue that serving your country should be, and really is, so much broader than just the Armed Forces.
As you know, I am also a writer at the Juventus Black & White & Read All Over blog at SB Nation. My latest article was a farewell letter to the departing striker Gonzalo Gerardo Higuaín. The third and final part is upon us! Here I talk about my biggest secrets, if I prefer texting over calling, my greatest fears, if I’m truly happy or not, what I’m most proud of in my life, and more!
In addition to all my writing here, I write content elsewhere on the Internet as well. I made a page where you can find all the content that I’ve written on other blogs, most of which is football-related. Check out it!

I appeared on the podcast Why the Hell Am I Here? by the Richland Source to talk about my experience growing up in the Netherlands, moving around during my childhood, and my overall life story.
High school. The world's most infamously hated yet popular topic. It's something that every person and his dog has an opinion on. Want to hear me philosophize about my experience with high school? Then keep reading!
Although it's still very much a man's world, if you look closely, real closely, you'll see that things are changing in ways that are rarely discussed in mainstream media. Could it be that women are outperforming men in higher education?
Why is passion one of the most discussed topics on the internet? I don't know, but I'm not here to give you another one of those just-find-your-passion articles. Time for a more refreshing take on the issue of finding your passion.
